The idea of adaptation and transformation has been the focus in creating this series of work. The pieces were constructed using a delicate balance of choice, chance, and process; strive to bring out the materials’ most beautiful and lively aspect. As the work going through the multiple adding and subtracting stages; transforming as the firing temperature rises and falls, it gradually arrives at its final composition and becomes a 'living' individual.
